You never told me.

I'm a transplant here to California. We met before over at an In n Out and not one of you mentioned the "secret menu". You guys have been around here a lot longer than I, but I had to learn about it on public radio.

I am so disappointed, I'm going to have to take a trip over there for lunch.

I'd just be concerned about the "Secret Sauce"

I haven't a clue what you're talking about, Chet. I think I've eaten at an In n' Out about three times (wasn't all that impressed) and have never heard of any secret menu. Don't have one near me anyway...

Here's a bit about this on wikipedia.

I really would have enjoyed the grilled onions. I'll pass on the 100x100

I've had the animal fries, and grilled onions on my burgers. The animal fries are like a whole meal themselves.

Yep, a double double animal styles with fries animal style. That is a great meal with enough calories for a week. Good stuff.

I rarely eat there. Do they still have the shamrock shake? It was a mint milkshake they had for St. Patricks day a few years ago. I've never asked for it since, and am kinda craving one, but don't want to look stupid when I try to order something that doesn't exist.

Wow, I never knew about all those secret variations and I've been going there for 12 years. I do usually ask for the 3x3. Now I'm going to ask for the bun extra toasted and the fries extra crisp!!! Thanks for the heads up. Jag
