Agreed. Air should not be getting in there.

Welcome to FTE. You may want to start your own thread. It'd be easier to keep things straight and not confuse your issues with the issues listed in this thread from the guy that started it. Off the top of my head, I'd return the truck to stock and see if that fixes the no start problem.

Primed as directed and then drove the truck two times for about 20 miles. During the drive it gave me a message saying CLEANING EXHAUST FILTERS. I could hear the turbo was spooling up but then it would hiss and the turbo would decrease about 25% of the normal boost. I checked the oil when I got back home and it was overfilled. I drained 2-3 qts. Now I turn the key and get a buzzing from the little motor that is mounted on top of the fuse box (under the hood on the drivers side.)

No codes are found (but I disconnected the battery earlier and before I realized I was going to need to test for codes)

The wrench symbol is on in the message center.

Can someone help me? Also, this is my first diesel so you may have to be specific with where parts are located or how to test a part.
Same problem here as I spent all day bleeding the fuel cleaner, holding down the button on passenger side door between the dash while I rank and 30 seconds intervals withave key Inot on position still nothing. I think I need to purchase the fuel line bleeder hose contrapment to remove all air in lines any help would be great

put a charger on the batteries.

remove and reinstall the filters to ensure they are right. they are OEM filters? correct?

Once done again. Then purge. This time key on, listen to the buzz. Leave the key on till the buzz stops. Repeat 10 times.

Then attempt the restart.

They are not oem filters just napa golds all of them including oil filter. I have installed correctly, I want to believe too much air in fuel lines from removing both fuel filters, I've bled both shrader and bolt on fuel cooler got it to start once but only about 3 secs.... now ide hate to go and buy all 3 oem filters and start over... these filters do work though right? Or are these filters my problem why I can't get enough fuel through?

Go back to OEM filters and try again.

If you changed the oil filter as well then you also are at a risk there for oil starvation.

Put all oem filters back in before any attempts. Mean time charge the batteries.

Senix is right. Use OEM filters. I had a box of Wix filters a while back and tried to install them. (fuel filters) When compared to OEM (motorcraft), they looked identical, but I could not get the wix installed.

How many times did you cycle the key before you tried to start your truck?

Your filters are the problem. Stop using that garbage aftermarket brand and use the OEM. So many people are telling you the issue, why? Because they have all BEEN there already.

umm...no

if you have 3 quarts excess oil...that means 3qts of fuel has gotton into thehoil system or coolant. draining the excess is not the answer since the remaining oil is duluted. drain and refill with pure clean oil.

excess oil due to fuel or coolant contamination is a serious problem and the best bet is to turn the truck over to someone who knows what they are doing.
