That's nice...put more people (car salesmen/receptionists/porters) out of work. My best friend is a Toyota salesman and he hopes this is a fail, otherwise it's just a matter of time until every car company is doing this.

I don't see how it changes anything. Dealers already sell cars on eBay, and you still have to go to the dealer to get it. The article says dealers still control pricing too.
