What kind of lift is this?

I just purchased this truck a few days ago. I really like it but I have no idea what kind of lift it has on it. I was told by the dealership it was a 6" lift. I have a feeling it is a 4" though. I have no idea on how to tell. I know the rear has two 4" blocks under the leaf spring. Let me know if I need to take anymore pics to help identify what I am working with. It is an 03 F350 SRW with the 6.0L. Thanks for the help guys. The wealth of information this site provides is awesome!

And a pic of the truck.

10 leafs in the front, so I'm not sure. I almost though Donahoe/Icon front leafs, but they are 11-12 leafs. I'd definitely take out those stacked blocks and do either rear lift springs or a single 6" block, looks a little high in the back.

What size tires are on the truck? They appear to be 37" tall... If so, then you have more than 4" of lift in the front. Check the various components (front springs, drop down bracket, rear blocks) to see if you can find the brand.

BTW, that's a great looking Super Duty!

Pretty sure its a 6 inch...get rid of those stacked blocks, and you will be set for the long run. Good looking truck.

those front springs look like someoens added extra springs at the bottom..

all the rest of the pack has a tapered end to the leaf, but the bottom 2 have a flat cut end...

p.s. that dble stacked rear block is downrite scary...

My guess 8" out back with the stacked blocks, which isn't a good idea. Might want to consider rear lift springs. Up front looks like 2" helper springs and a 4" block. Seems to be a econ kit, but it will provide the truck with a lift. I would have to imagine it's a ruff ride?

those blocks arent even stacked right so that makes it more dangerous. definately invest in leaf packs. looks to me like its a 6" lift.

What kind of lift is this? Most deff. a suspension lift!! LOL sorry culdnt resist. I have no idea what brand it is, but like most have said, get rid of them dbl stacked blocks asap. Full leafs would be best, but a single 6'' block would be alot better then what it has.

stacked blocks

Lift blocks are pretty comin on a low budjet 4inch lift. New leafs in front and a four inch block on top of the factory blocks is comin.

If you plan on doing any serious off roading you might go with some new leafs in the rear. For right now nothing wrong with lift blocks.

I don't ever plan on putting the truck off road. A few gravel and dirt roads but nothing crazy. I really want to maintain the reliability of the truck. I just really like the lifted look. It has 36x14.50s on it. They rub at full turn in the front. Nothing bad but they do rub. It really doesn't have a rough ride at all. Is there a way for me to get another 1" or 2" out of the front to help clear the tires? I am seriously debating on just getting rid of this one and going with the 8" if I can't get those tires to fit.

Where do they rub? Its probably an issue of the wrong wheel offset and not needing more height. 14.5" is a wide tire so you're probably rubbing the leaf springs and need wheels with less backspace. You could put up with it and get some skinnier tires next, or drill and tap the steering bump stops to make an adjustable stop, but that will limit steering.

They are hitting the fender itself. It is all chewed up right there. I am sure I could cut the plastic off or tape it back and it would stop. I don't see any marks on the leaf springs. It doesn't rub bad but you can here it hitting the plastic.

I'd move to a narrower tire in the future. Several manufacturers offer a 37x12.50 which I plan to run next, another option is to drop to a 35" tire in 12.5 or 13.5" width (305-325). Depending on your gearing since 35s will be a better option if you have stock 3.73s. If you have spring clearance at full lock you could go to a wheel with more backspace and it will give you a little more fender/bumper clearance when turning.
