Very Hot Out!

Hi all,

I'm not new to the forum just haven't been here very often until lately. Been trying to get more out of my 5.4 and been talking about mods on a thread in the SD section.

Saw a thread about the cold snap thought I'd start a hot snap. Its F****g hot!

It was 73f out here.
Way to hot to do much other than boat rides.
Only good thing is the skeeters are not out in the heat very much.

Looks like another sorcher today. Did Bethel have the cold snap in january like we did in SC?

Strange year so far, winter colder, summer hotter, and a volcano in between. Was dip netting last weeked at the Kasilof. Redoubt across the inlet spewing steam.

The heat is keeping the maskeetahs down here too. Lots more flys though.

Yeah we had some -40f to -50f weather this last winter.

Spring and summer have been cooler than past yrs.
Just the past few days have been hot.

Wife got bit by a fly at a 4th celebration in a village yesterday.
In the last week more flys have come out.

Just waiting for the no see-ums.
Currently 78f outside.

Funny, I got bit by a fly last week. Surprised me. First time in years. Weather still same here. Part of me wishes for rain because the concern for wild fires increases each day. Yet, I'm going to the Kenai this weekend to dipnet reds and I want the weather to be nice. Stood in that water too many times in wind and rain.

Looks like some relief today.
Gonna get a little rain today and tomorrow.
Temps are cooler this am and is getting cloudy.
Hope the interior gets some relief also.
We hit 83 yesterday.

Yeah Dennis I melt too. Saving on laundry though. Been wearing my only tank top for the last week. No underwear either
