gorgeous, and i haven't seen another one that color.

Tomorrow I get to sit and fill in 38 holes in the firewall and start removing the old paint from the underside of the cab... someone thought it was a good idea to paint over dirt... like chunks of dirt, like they drove it through a mud puddle...
don't ya just love the prep that some people do..

and firewall hole filling is like my FAVORITE thing (!NOT!).. put that copper spoon behind, helps tons.. (I flattened a section of water pipe).

thanks for the comments on the green.. we were sucked in by this advert in Custom Classic Trucks now almost 8 yrs ago..

I think I'm close.. nothing that a dark background and 12 hours to get that picture they said

repeated post from 'let's see your truck right now' but it made more sense to put this here...

Not a great pic, but current condition...

recent progress:
Steering column is painted and ready for reassembly
I pick up my A/C later this week
Custom inner fenders built
Custom gravel pan built
All front sheet metal primed
started work on '57 chevy front bumper

Trying to get it rolling before the end of next summer...

Looking good. 57Chevy bumper. Interesting. Can't remember exactly what that looks like. Is that a popular choice or just something you like?
Will it fit or be narrowed?

@ Tomget - will take a bit of work... I want about a 3/4 inch gap all the way across... the curvature is a little different, and the shape at the ends is a little different... so a bit of nip and tuck.

@others - thanks for the kind words
