Excuse me if this (and I'm sure it has) has been asked before but how does the X plan price compare with the invoice price. My cousin owns a Ford dealership and I'll prob order after the rebates go up some more. I can usually by at invoice or 300 over. Thanks

A few of the previous posts have been wrong on this. It's not over invoice. X-Plan is invoice minus .4% plus you subtract any available incentives after that. It also limits their doc fees to $100 so that can save you $100-200 as the usual doc fees are $200-300. Here are the exact details of how X-Plan works:
Now, Bill4Kath has a great offer in the post above. Sometimes you can't find anyone to offer their pins though. In those situations, the easiest way to get an X-Plan pin is to join EAA. It's only $40 to join and once a member you can generate your own pin as they are a Ford partner. Here is the link to EAA.
Here are the details from EAA about getting your X-Plan through them. I've personally done this. They did not make me wait the 60 days listed to generate the pin either. I did it the same day I joined...
I've been told in the big city markets high volume dealers will give you the X-Plan price without a pin. Where I live, and many other small town areas, this is not the case so it's a great tool for a no haggle decent price.
I love people who can afford a new truck, want an easy no haggle price, but can't afford $40 to join the EAA. LOL. Your answer to an X plan pin is in post #33 of this thread.

Sorry.. not sure how I missed that. It's still current?

Thanks for the help!
Sorry for the sarcasm.... Yes, it's always the deal. You join EAA and can create your own X-Plan pin. Click the links I provided above and you'll be good to go...
PERFECT. No problem!! Thanks so much! Just trying to get as much research as I can. Was baited and switched yesterday and now want to be more educated!

It says on their site that you have to be a member for 60 days to generate your pin. I was able to do it a day after joining though...

Karl the $40 isn't an issue at all. Hell I'd be happy to PayPal him $40 for his trouble. It's more just the extra step to join something and then the uncertainty of possibly having to wait 60 days, and if that route even still works. I'll try the EEA method if Bill can't help
OK... this is odd. Was shown an invoice in the dealership yesterday and the Xpin price was below invoice. Was just sent another and the pin is HIGHER. Does that make ANY sense???

No, X-Plan is always below invoice.... X-Plan is invoice - 0.4%
