Hook fog lights to upfitter switch?

You want to do this because? Maybe to have your fog lights on and your brights at the same time? Or, just turn them on without having any other lights on?
The factory switch just controls a relay, you won't find 12V at the switch. Best thing to do would be to trace the power wire back from the light itself as far as you can and then cut/extend/hook up to your switch.
I tried to get the power from the headlight switch to run the backlight on a air pressure gauge for my air bags. No luck. Had to get power from the upfitter switch for that too.

Well I do want to be able to use the fog lights with my high beams, but the main reason is so that I will have a redundant lighting system. If I'm on the farm and my headlights poop out it will be nice to have some lights to find my way home. Do the fog lights run off of 12 volts? If so it will be a straight up wiring job. What I'm not sure of is if there is a relay or transformer between the factory switch and the lights because the fog lights are something other then 12 volts. I guess what I'm trying to ask is: Are the factory fog lights run by 12 volts or some other voltage?
