auto hub to manual hub

what is reguired to do this conversion/ 96 f150 4.9 front end out of 91 f150 4.9 both manual tranny.

You just need the hubs and possibly a conversion kit, depending if you have three or five screws in the auto hub cap.

yes you'll only need the hubs,if you have a complete set from a truck with manuals on ti you can just swap hubs.make sure you take out the snap ring and the outter ring.

well my truck is currently 2wd but im getting a 91 parts truck tht has auto hubs on it but i would rather have the manual hubs.

well if you go to your local parts store and ask for a set of warm manual hubs,they will sell you a kit for around $100 and that will have everything you need in it.are you planning on making a 4x4 from your 2x4?

yep the parts truck has every thing i need fort and when i was back at carson the local 4wheel parts had a warn kit for 70 dollars.

ahh well there ya go,that will give you everything you need,when are you going to do the swap from 2 to 4wd?

some time in august i plan on doing a complete write up with lots of pics. just wish i didnt have to wait so long i miss my truck.

well good luck with your project,and I'm very eager to see and hear of your project.I was thinking of doing something like that myself with my 78.but I decided to keep it 2wd.
I am keeping my old 95 I just stopped driving for a project down the road,it has a good frame,so I figure that it may come in handy sometime.hope your project goes good for you.

i tink im gonna need a lot of luck with it im gonna have 14 days to drop a motor do the 4wd swap and drive it back to colorado.
