So you think 4.56 would be the way to go? I will keep these babies polished as much as I can, I think I may even ru n a differernt set of rims in the winter time, because its so hard to keep a nice polish whe n you got salt sleeping on them. Thank you all for the comments. I def will be getting those smaller flares as soon as I get my refund for the Xenons. Like you guys said, I hate the look of a tire sunken in a fender, looks old man. I am surprised that this 13.5 inch wide tire is till a tad inside the rear fender! Thats why I was really considering a wheel spacer because it looks sort of "gayy". But I will see what the Strreet flares do for the fender and go from there. Cant wait to light up like civics once i get the 4.56 to get my power pack.

I agree. w 4:10's you will not notice that much of a difference. My truck has 3:55:s and i was not totally happy when it had 33"s. When i regear i am going 4:56

And this is coming from a shop that did all the body work for me, so I couldnt imagine what i would get for a quote elsewhere.

This truck is tastefully done. The flares look great on this truck.

I would think 4.56s would be perfect, you do have OD so highway cruising shouldn't be hurt too badly. I was running 33s with 4.10s in my 84 F150 with the 300 six/ 4spd granny. It had good power I could rip em up on pavement pretty easily and had no trouble keeping the tread cleaned out in mud. Nice looking rig... I love srw F350s, leaf sprung Dana 60 up front and the beefy Sterling 10.25 out back... 100% tough!

Guys, i really appreciate all your feedback and comments! I chose the tire I went with 1. It is an aggressive tire, and a smart tire.
2. I dont need a mud tire. My brother had 35 inch tires on his 01 dodge ram, and it road so bad, the way this thing rides put that dodge to shame. I wouldnt want to be wobbling all over the road, i enjoy speed and sleek looks, im not into the mud scene, i use to the truck for work and enjoy a smooth but beefy looking ride. I know some would differ, I did consider Toyo's M/T, but relaistically, I did not need that type of tire, I NEVER OFF ROAD. I only drive off road when needed

I would at least go to a 4.56 gear because i was recently looking in a bronco graveyard catalog and a truck with a 35 inch tall tire with 4.56 gears only revs about 265 more rpm at 70 compared to a 4.10.I have a 97 one ton with a 351 w and 4.10s and if i ever changed i would go straight to a 5.13 and 35s. That's just my 2 cents

thats a nice looking truck it looks very similar to mine. i put 2.5 inch wheel spacers on the rear of mine and it set the tires the same with as the front then i got the bushwacker 2 inch flares. i think they were called the extend a fender. the tires are right at the edge of the flares like it should be. i have had the spacers for 2 years now with no problems. my truck is a 1994 f-350 4x4 with a moded 460 and 5 speed. 37x13.50x18 toyo mt tires. lockers front and rear and 4.88 gears. i use it to tow a 8000lbs trailer and like i said never a problem with the spacers. but the gears are a little low on the highway at 70 mph it 2500 rpm. i wish i went with 4.56 gears. but i am thinking about getting the gear venders overdrive for it should give me the highway driveing back and still have the off the line power it has now

I agree, 4.56's are in need. I think it would feel very anti climatic to only upgrade one size, especially seeing I am 8 sizes over stock, I think a little upgrading in my gearing is in need for sure. I need to be able to get this thing to snap a little more around town, its awfully tiring getting it moving. Tho on the highway with those big revolutions of the tires, and the 3.55 gears, it cooks 80mph very easily @ 2,000RPMs. I will miss that, but I do most of my driving around town and back roads where 4.56s would be greatly appreciated.
