Parts in San Diego

Well, not really. We have a C&G Ford parts for new/repro stuff, but other than that, it's pretty lean down here as far as Junk yards and car parts swap meets.
I kno wparts are hard to get in Canada. So, if you need anything you are having trouble finding, you might want to visit C&G to see if they have it. I'd call them first in case they have to order it. They are actually in Escondido which is about a 45 minute drive from Downtown San Diego or Mission Valley (the two places you are most likely to be staying unless you have friends here). Here is their link:

Well back home
Had a great week in SD; back home last night. Didn't find any parts places but did see a couple old Ford trucks, '53 and a panel. Didn't stop as my co-pilot had sight seeing on her timetable. Did stop at one rod shop; in Santee, had great weather and food. Thanks to all that replied; may see you down the road.
I worked on my project today, replaced the valve cover gaskets, as one leaked. Found one vacumn line that needed plugging, as I removed the EGR and Air pump, so still idling a little high, but smoother. Hope to get the engine running better, the EEC seems confused !
