Which transmission fluid in 93 F150 E4OD?
I have a 93 F150 with automatic E4OD. What is now the required type of fluid to use in it, I know that has been contraversial and just wanted some feedback on it before I change it. I will be draining the torque converter and lines also. Also how do I tighten the valve body while I have the pan dropped and what is the torque specs. thanks.

Mercon V which replaced Mercon which was the original ATF for the E40D.

Yes any Mercron V spec fluid would be fine. Why would you want to mess with the valve body bolts?
