Have any lightning owners out there been able to fit 12 inch subs in boxes behind there seat? I know 10 inch subs will fit with the right person making the boxes. I want to upgrade and I have an amp that will already fit underneath the seat. It might not be the right place for this thread but I know im not the only owner who has changed there stereo system.
I dont necessarily need 12 inch subs in there. I owned a 99 flareside and had a box custom made with 2 10 inch pioneer subs and it sounded fine. I just thought i would see if anyone else had tried to fit in 12's and if they were happy with the system after they had did it.
the ones that i have always seen that a lot of lightning guys have is the MTX thunderform box. i think they are available with 12's also, but i definitely know they are available with 10's. from what i understand they are a perfect fit behind the seat....it better be since they are made for the truck.
