I'm not a slave driver either.

If I was it would already be done!

I have two questions:

What are some small mods that could give me decent power gain with my 460? I was thinking of upgrading the cam and maybe painting flames on the truck. You know that kind of thing makes it faster.

Roll on bedliner ( out of can ) in the cab. Pull up rubber floor mats and put that stuff down. What do you guys think? Is it good to muffle sound?

I've been trying to get my damn windshield to stop leaking lol.

If you do the cam-put in a straight up timing set...but I dunno how that will effect the EFI...I would throw a little bit of money into opening up the exhaust ports on the heads and a set of headers too.....02Cent

Gear, gearsm gears.
Everyone wants more power, and while that is a nice "want", putting what you have down to the ground is a far better option.

You will want to re-think the rattle can bedliner stuff on the floors. The rattle can stuff is just not thick enough and will rub off easilly.

Not rattlecan. The gallon cans that come with a roller.

I am getting REALLY pissed about my engine not running right. God damn fuel injection B.S.

I'm probably going to pull my engine and put a cam in it and paint it. Then i'll make sure all my wiring is fresh. Because honestly there's alot of ugly wiring. I actually have a wire nut for one of my relay wires. Its kind of shoddy looking.

Anyways my nephew is getting his license in a few weeks so i'm going to be changing his truck's engine. So for the time being the F-350 is rolled out of the shop and the F-150 goes in.

If anyone is wondering I havn't accomplished anything major. Just working on my interior. Just going to yank the rubber floor up and bedline it.

Working on beefing up my bumpers aswell. My rear is solid, now i'm turning my attention to my front. I'll post pictures when i'm done and see if I can get any suggestions for them.

Edit: Oh and my shop could fit more than one vehicle but I have so much crap its crowded. I like to have room in the front to roll in a car incase something breaks or I need to change the oil. So atm the spot in the back is reserved for the F-150 till I do the engine.

i agree.... toss a carb on the bitch you won't have any problems and it's also more open to mods you put on (if your speed density) + no need to change injectors if you decide to do major stuff to it till it becomes undercarbed then you sell the used carb you bought on ebay back on ebay and use the money to upgrade your carb lol

EFI blows. Get a performance intake a good 650-700 edelbrock and youll be set. They also make offroad kits for them so you can go up steep angles.
Holley has the truck avenger, but I did not have good luck with it, or any holleys as a matter of fact.

and while you are doing the carb upgrade you should get some p-51 heads, a fat roller cam, tunnelram intake with two split dominators sitting ontop!!!!!

(that would be really awesome to see in a truck and i love spending other people's money)

on the serious side i converted my truck to a carb and can list all the things you need, not sure what you're going to do about the intake since the efi heads are different from the carb heads and you can't just stick any carb intake on the efi heads but i can set you up with the right fuel system parts

But when my EFI is working right I love it. Lol.

As for the truck avenger, my buddy had one and hated it.
Well.. pretty much all holleys suck as you said.

You can find intakes for EFI to carb swaps. But its just easier to leave EFI.. if I ever get it running right. Prob got some bad gas. Gotta fill it up and fix some wiring. We'll see where that takes me.

Its turning over but not firing up. It'll fire a little once in awhile.. and oddly enough it USUALLY always fires up pretty fast when I have a battery charger on it.

But I mean.. shouldn't need the extra juice.

And then once it fires up, until it runs awhile.. it'll want to die. Got it fired up with my buddy, he was running it about half throttle and it died. My relays are good. Problem is that its a stripped engine. No emissions stuff at all anymore. So its kind of hard to pin-point my problem exactly. It didn't do it before I parked it. So I might just need to run some new gas through it.

Can u try to pull any codes?
Also, I have a car I converted from efi to carb, I still run the intank pump with a return regulator I rigged up. Works very well. If ur interested I could show u my setup. I don't know how well it would work with ur multi port fuel system, because it runs more pressure than the tbi I converted.
Do u know if ur pickup runs 2 fuel pumps? One intank, the other on the frame...
