You know your driving in michigan...

...if you are in a luxury car, and still cannot drink an open cup of coffee with out spilling it all over yourself.

Its weird that I just read this because I was driving down 94 today and thought I was gonna lose my teeth.

So what's going on with this Chapter? I haven't been on this site much lately and especially this chapter. Any events coming up? With the luck we have been having with events we might have better luck planning 6 months out lol Although I probably shouldn't speak because I haven't really been helpful either.

You know you are driving in Michigan if the trucks look like centipeds with all the axles.

You know you are driving in Muskegon, MI if you have to go past the corner to make a left turn.

You know you are driving in Michigan if you have to wait for a drawbridge.

You know you are driving(maybe not any more!) if you see a new weird car with different license plates.

I guess I need to explain the last one. Manufacturers plates on a newbie model.

Thought of another one! You know you are in Michigan because local cars over ten years old are two tone. The original color and rust! Kinda mean coming from someone that doesn't live in the rust belt.

That's a good one rusty!

You know your in Michigan if your dodging turkeys on a regular basis, after you just dodged the 3 deer, did a cartwheel in the road and kept driving.

You know your a young Michigan driver with no clue in the world if you failed 1 or all 3 of the above.

You know you're driving in Michigan when you come across a travel trailer the size of the large tour bag being towed by a Canadian.

You know you're driving in Michigan when the EMT's turn on their lights and sirens to blow through backed up traffic to get to the McDonalds drive-thru...

Seriously... saw it twice this year.

You know you're in michigan, IF you have to drive past the street you wanted to turn left onto, make a left, sit at a stop, continue on, stop again, then make a right, before you can turn on the street you wanted to make a left on. Otherwise know as "Michigan turn-around"
