...and hoped that you too had a happy 4th! Went to the sister-in-law's place on the beach... the salt water, sun, cold beer and surf/turf bbq was great but the sister-in-law is still a half bubble off plumb.
Mine was pretty good - fairly uneventful. I got a rare chance to sleep in past 6AM, had some extra time with the boy, and almost got blown up by a mortar. In all seriousness, I didn't really almost get blown up. I guess someone's mortar tube either fell over or they were being a smarta**es winging them into the road. Either way, I had a big one go off right in front of me at about 35 mph. It didn't wake the boy, but I think it made me pee a little.
