Hi Peeps!

I'm stuck in Florida for a while, but at least I got a cable modem installed today.

Cheers.

It was a small show & I only stayed a few hours. I'm into guns, but my partner is a buyer & seller of guns & collector cars & trucks. What do you have? Please PM me if you want to continue a discussion on this subject. Thanks Craig

Bruce what the heck you doing in Florida in the summer? Isn't that a winter spot for us cold winter people?
Good Night Nevada, I had a great motorcycle ride today a total of 378 miles. I rode with the Christan Motorcycle Assoc. out of Reno. Really had a great time met some really nice people. Saw some beautiful country I had not been in for about 20 years. We traveled to Quincy Ca then over to Downyville Ca & back to Fallon. We were on the road for 13 hours. Riding & stopping to sight see & fellowship. Great lunch in Quincy.

Craig, I'll pm you about that, thanks. That sounds like an awesome ride you had! I rode back from San Diego a couple of weeks ago, via the Planes of Fame air museum in Chino. Glad you had a fun, safe ride. But I was wondering about something else, do any of you northern guys ever go to the air races? I'll be up there for them, maybe we can get together and have an adult beverage or two?? A nitro icky sure sounds goooood...

Hi Craig, I am looking after my Mom. She is ninety, and health is failing her. I feel that she cannot be alone now, and my staying with her seems the best option. Otherwise, I know what you mean about Fla in the summer........ Talk about lighting! Storms almost daily and hot! (Not that much hotter than Nevada.)

Bruce,

I was hoping you were there on a fun trip. Sorry to hear about your mom, but it sounds like she has had a long life. You take care of you while your there. We will keep you & your mom in prayer & thought.

Al,
I don't do the air races, but would be willing to hook up for lunch or dinner. I'm 55 miles from Reno. I don't drink alcohol so I don't do the bar thing, but I like good food.
PM me when you have your plans set for the air races I'll give you my phone # hopefully we can meet. The Races are in Sept I believe.

Craig

Good morning Nevada. How are things going? I passed my first test

I did the math and I am loving the headers on my truck. I got 16.757 miles per gallon on the way up here

Congratulation on your test Jeff. Is that 16+ on your 96 F250 4x4 with a 460? Man that is good if that is the truck. Which headers are you running?

Thanks. I took another test yesterday and almost aced it. I missread one question and put down the wrong answer

The headers are from headman if I remember right. I will have to look later when class is over. And yes it is the 460 I drive up here.

That's some great fuel economy out of a 460
