No, I don't mind looking...but typing all this jazz is a time consuming PITA.
I believe looking at the holes in my doors that this was the original mirrors on my '73 F-100 4x4.

5 1/4" x 8 1/4" stainless steel mirror head,
flat bracket.
Upper Portion of bracket has (2) mounting holes on a 2 3/4" bolt center.
Lower portion of bracket has (2) mounting holes on a 2" bolt center.
The bracket has a span of 7 19/32 inches.
According to the Ford Dealer Parts Locator System, a grand total of
SEVEN are still available from Ford.

curved, the bolt spacing is 2" above and below, and the span is 6 11/16"

But wait...there's more!
There were three
other versions of this mirror used in 1978/79.
The difference is in the size of the mirror head (one is 6" x 9" the others are the same as above), and how the mirror glass mounts into the body of the mirror head.
Stupid, IMO, to have five similiar mirrors, but that was typical of what Ford did back then.
btw: In case anyone here is interested, the mirrors heads were also available by themselves.
