battery life-radio on trk not running

My daughter wanted to play the CD player in our 05 Ltd. It has the factory sub. The radio was on with the truck not running for about 30 mins. The truck would not start after that. Jumped it and it started right up.

Should the battery last longer than that? She was not playing huge bass music, but I am sure the sub draws a fair amount of power, weather there is a lot of bass or not.

Your experience?

I've listened to my radio longer than that and was able to start it w/out problems. Is your battery origional? It could be getting close to the end of it's lifetime.

x3 on time for a new battery. Even at full power, the radio should only draw about 15 amps. A regular battery is what, about 900Ahours?

Better to replace it now when it dies in the driveway versus replacing it somewhere in the middle of nowhere.
