Wink Kenwood DDX714 Install

I pulled the trigger and bought one tonight.

Just looking for some advice on pitfalls I need to be aware of....hopefully none though.

It will be installed into a 2008 Ford Expedition. I currently have the OEM Double Din 6-disc changer in there.

I haven't done a radio swap in almost 10 yrs...so any and all help is appreciated.

TIA

btw, anybody recommend a good Steering Wheel Control adapter? Found out this unit doesn't support the steering wheel controls after I bought...and I must have that function

The tech sheet should get you pretty close. If you need VSS, I believe ford commonly uses blk/pnk somewhere near the radio.
