Woody from 48-50 F3?

A few years ago I stumbled across a picture on the internet somewhere of a woody made out of a 48 to 50 F2 or F3. They built by a company that sold them to resorts or dude ranches back in the day.

I may have seen the picture on this forum, but I can't remember and I don't see any search option.

Does anyone know what I am talking about? Have a link for the photos?

I was thinking of this as something to do with my F3.

Bob will be along in a little while with all the pics you need.
Those were neat looking vehicles.

The Hercules-Campbell body company made woody bodies for Fords, and a variety of makes. Here's a link to more info: http://www.coachbuilt.com/bui/h/herc...s_campbell.htm

...and a photo from that page:

That's a great idea, I hope you go with it.

I found a Argentine web site a while back that featured a restored '48-50 woody, it wasn't a Campbell. The web site is no longer up, here are a few pictures that were posted:

Here are a piece of Campbell sales literature:

Here's the write up and drawing of the F-2/F-3 Club Wagon's inside dimensions from the Campbell Mid-States flyer. On and off I've had the same "what if" dream about doing the same with one of my trucks. Good luck with it. Stu

Thanks for the pictures and links.

I'm sure it would be more work than keeping it a pickup, but it would be cool to be able to cruise with more than one or two other people.
