i need some pictures of how the rear factory sway bar mounted to the axle

My truck is in my signature, that is all the info ya need on my truck,

i am sure someone has a truck that they can snap some pictures of,

i just need too know how it goes on the rear axle, my truck has a 9" rear end out back, i grabbed the sway bar off a 1979 Bronco, i know i can always try the Bronco area, but i figured if i post here i will get me more interest,

i know how it mounts to the frame, but i need pictures of how it bolts to the axle, i know its via u-bolts, just need to know how the bracket goes on, and how it looks when mounted right,

we got the sway bar off a 79 Bronco early last summer, and i have a bad memory for a guy going on 20, and can't think of how it came off? so any help would be great, and pictures would be all i need, and many thanks in advance,

-Brent

1. Right click on image itself
2. Save to your computer in "my pictures or desktop"
3. Once saved go to it and right click, pick open "open with"
4. Pick "windows picture fax and viewer"
5. Should have ability to scroll with mouse to blow up pic
6. Worked for me, and I am computer diliterate.

yeah i tried that all ready, it gets kinda blurry, just wanted a bigger picture, i thought maybe this picture was just scaled down for the thread,

ah well i can try and print this and see what happens, as the truck is a ways away from the computer, and i would like to show my father this schematic when i am out at his house in the garage working on the truck,

me and my dad removed the sway bar over a year ago from a local Bronco that was getting parted out, and my almost 20 year old brain and his almost 44 year old brain (both September birthdays) we can't remember which way it goes? lol lol, we where actually trying it in reverse to this picture, we had the bend go around the back of the 9" diff, instead of over top the pumpkin (the removable part) like in the diagram, just need the right setup, as we might have to extend the arms that attach to the frame, so we want it sitting in there close to the way we need it, then we can figure out how much to add, as we have put in the factory 4 inch blocks, i think there 4 inch? they got the horns, either way that plus the extra leafs and now double thick helper spring (the one that is on the bottom, we doubled both sides, so now there is 2 helper springs on each side!) so it sits up a lot taller than factory, and even taller than the 1979 Bronco we grabbed the sway bar off, as far as we can tell the front sway bar we grabbed from the same Bronco fits the truck fine, it was limited to the ways you could mount it, but the rear one can go either infront or behind the diff, this picture clears things up, and thanks again for all the help from both of you guys,

-Brent

Guys, that picture is too damn small to be legible.

I grabbed a bigger file for saving/printing. Don't change its properties.

Y'all can buy a CD of the 1973/79 Ford LIGHT Truck Parts Catalog from hipoparts.com for around 25 bucks.

Once you have the catalog, you won't need to ask for pics, since EVERY PART is illustrated.

btw: The Big Dummy also has a September birthday, the next will be my 65th.
