Get ready for some questions gents! First diesel for me! As stated it is a 2002 with 122,000 miles. I have spent the past few days making a to do list. The previous owner put 315/75/16 tires on it and they rub the front leaf springs (first priority). Also, the power mirrors don't work. Didn't see any posts at all about electrical mirrors not working on here.

Lots of options on upgrades for sure! Where do I start? The truck is bone stock except for a 2" lift on the front & tires. Will spend some time reading the board and decide what to do.

Very nice. Start simple, ask lots of questions, but like Josh said, open up the air with intake and exhaust, then maybe gauges, DP-tuner and then you will be on a good start. Or, you could join us in Aug for our get together in TN and see Clay with Riffraff and he will have everything you need with him and we can help you put it on.

Congrats on the find. Since someone has already trimmed down and installed an 05 grill on that, I'm curious to find out what other mods you may already have. Do you have any extra gauges or switched mounted inside the cab? Would you mind posting a few pics of under the hood from different angles so we can see what else may have been done?

If you need knowledge about your new diesel, you've come to the right place.

The grill is a plus plus! I will try to take some pics under the hood. Looks all stock to me, but not 100% what I am looking at. Hell I can't even find the spark plugs! I am still trying to figure out what starts the fire! It is making all kinds of funny sounds and putting out some black smoke when I get on it a little. Nothing at all like my 460!.

What, our trucks don't have sparkplugs. And all this time I thought I had a bad spark knock.
