On the way home it pulled like a different truck. It still isn't what i expected, but it was much better. I think I might have gotten some bad fuel . Some other possible issues: tires (as mentioned) and 3.73 gears. Also, I switched it back into OD and it seemed to pull better with the RPMs lower. Gonna drop down to a 285 tire and maybe 4.10 gears when I get the cash. Thanks again for all of the advice!

Good looking truck! It also looks like it may have the newer badges on the door.
Regarding the pulling issues; I would go ahead and change all the fluids, just for peace of mind. Check for boost leaks and up-pipe leaks. Also, the downshifting can be attributed to the larger tires, and/or the exhaust back pressure sensor may be dirty and the tube may need cleaning, which is fairly common since it's a small tube and soot tends to build up on it.
There is a lot of potential in the truck. Take your time and look it over good, look around the engine just to see what's all there, look for oil leaks. And if/when you have questions, everyone here is more than helpful and will have you fixed and going again before you'd get off the phone with the dealer!
The previous owner put 315/75/16 tires on it and they rub the front leaf springs (first priority). Also, the power mirrors don't work. Didn't see any posts at all about electrical mirrors not working on here.
was just about to ask what size tires and if they rubbed or not...lol.
When I bought my truck the power mirror on passenger side was inop. turned out the switch was bad. popped a new on in and works perfect.
