Parts for our trucks that are still stocked by Ford?

Not obsolete parts, but parts that also fit newer models and are kept in stock?
I know of the dome light lens. Parts number D1AZ-13783B. Any others?

It depends on the Dealer, Year, Engine, etc....

But most parts that are still avaliable are usually avaliable the next day special order. Be aware though, Ford just obsoleted a lot of parts in the last few months!

Most comon parts throughout the years that are still avaliable:

Most parts guys at the dealerships won't even break out the microfiche to look up anything older than 1980 so it's hard to tell what's still available out there for our trucks, they just give you the "my computer only goes back to 1980" routine, it's like pulling teeth to get these guys to lift a finger.

I agree, it's getting bad. Most new parts counter people are the pits.

If you are armed with the parts numbers before you go in, it's much easier.

That and befriending the parts manager is better yet. Knowing the owner of the dealer is also a plus.
