punkytuu is starting off with a positive reputation.
My dealer told me it has a bad FICM, (it is blowing the fuse ) $1080 installed,, Hopefully that's it. I am at a loss over this, but have no choice at this point.

playboy087 - TBC fault is related to your trailer brake controller, a fault is usually caused by the pressure differential sensor located on your master cylinder or by the module itself. The module is the component that contains the controls to adjust the gain when braking. Not really necessary unless you tow or you just dont like looking at the fault in the instrument cluster. If you are under 3/36 its covered of course.

punkytuu- sorry to see it was the FICM, they are not that hard to install its the price that gets you $800! International has a lock on those modules, they charge a $100 core so when they get your old one back they just turn around and resolder the circuit board and ship it back it out to someone else. I heard once that some company here in Florida makes them but I don't know whether the price difference is worth it.

If I knew how to fix them I would pay the core on everyone I have replaced and fix them myself and turn around and sell them. Even if I sold them at $400 it would be a bargain and I could make a nice bit of change.
