Anyone have this boat? If so do you like it?

http://www.affordabledreamboats.com/

I am thinking about getting one.

Would love to hear opinions form owners.

Even if you have one, or had one, and hate it, please chime in.

I would rather know before buying what people think.

Thanks

Looks interesting. I'm not sure I trust the front ramp from eventually leaking, though.
I wonder how it would fair in rough waters.

Looks like it would be great for amphibious landings!.......miniature Higgins boat.
Quite unconventional and unique in todays look alike boat world. (I too question its rough water capability)

Looks cool.
But I agree that the front end would probably get racked in rough water causing a leak. But then again, it probably wouldn't be a gushing leak and could probably just be self-drained out the rear plug as long as the boat was moving forward. Might want to put a 12v sump/bilge pump in the stern to be on the safe side.

Thanks for the thoughts guys.

I had already figured on putting a bilge pump in it if we get one.

It will I think be perfect for hauling our dirt bikes, quad, etc, and a boat once at the lake, easily towable behind the motorhome we plan to buy.

Marty send Barry ZX250 a pm. He is very knowledgeable with all types of boats. He may be able to answer some of your questions.

There is a company in PG that has been selling, or atleast trying to sell, these boats for a few years. I have never actually seen one outside of their lot though. I will try to dig up the company name.

I kinda like the idea, but it would never work here on the Columbia River. It can go from flat calm to 8-10 foot waves in 20 minutes! People are killed here every year on the river that don't know it............
