1978 460 vacuum schematic needed
Greetings.
I searched the site and couldn't find what I needed.
I have a 1978 F150 that the engine hydrolocked on.
I installed a long-block but can't get the vacuum lines on correctly. (The Chilton manual didn't help). The truck runs but isn't running like it should as the vacuum lines aren't routed correctly.
This is a Federal motor (not <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comffice:smarttags" /><st1:State w:st="on"><st1lace w:st="on">California</st1lace></st1:State> smog engine).
Does someone have a vacuum diagram for a federal motor they can post? Or at least point me in the right direction. I've been to several shops, but they haven't been able to find the schematics.
(A few minutes ago, I posted this in the wrong area [not in the '73-79 forum] - sorry about that!)

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back, but I wanted to hear back from the shop (they called yesterday).
Thanks for the schematics Jermafenser. I printed it and took it to the shop, but they said it wasn't quite right and couldn't hook the hoses properly. Everyting in the diagram was good, except that my motor has a/c, and there wasn't any a/c in the schematic. (I think there is a thermal switch with 3 hoses that need to be hooked up.)
If someone has a diagram like the one Jermafenser kindly posted (but with a/c), would you please post if for me.
Thanks.
