Chevy P30 step van turn signal lever

This is just an informational post. I'm hoping should someone have the same problem as I did this will show up in Google, as FTE seems to pop up a lot.

If you’re looking for the blinker lever for a late 90’s Chevy P30 step van with a body by Union City Body Company, and maybe others like Utilimaster, with just the ultra basic off, low, high, mist settings; you may have noticed the black hole of information surrounding it. I finally got so frustrated I just drove out to the local junk yard and searched every GM product in sight. I finally found one on a 1988 GMC 3/4 ton Silverado. I imagine it was used on lots of vehicles around that time, but you should be able to order one up from that, I myself just pulled it off the truck.

Here’s a picture of one similar to it, only with delay, because as you already know finding an actual picture of it is much harder then finding one of the loch ness monster.
