Hey guys! Im currently driving a GM but im looking at a couple of f-250's I would like to here some opinions... This truck will be a daily driver only towing on occasion What can i expect??
Both have the old fashioned sealed beam headlights. coming from a newer chevy, you will have to put in the aerodynamic lamps and use the 9008 bulb. For a daily driver, you might want a regular style bed, and add either a tonneau cover or a tool box for a little more storage space.
They both look like good platforms to build up since they appear to be pretty stripped down.
I'm getting 13 mpg with mixed city/hwy driving. I run a custom 93 octane "performance" tune so I'm certain that I could get better mpg if I used the custom 87 octane "ecomony" tune.

Those would make good trucks for a DD. Mine gets about 12-14, mixed (see sig). I would probably go for the regular bed though - less miles and likely better gas mileage than the flatbed.

It looks like you're in Colorado! I just bought a 2006 xlt 4x4 super duty for under $9,000 in Brighton. It had 118k and a nice scratch on the side. Many of the ones I looked at were TRASHED both inside and out. Check out my new truck. It also came with the weather guard saddle box (needed keys) and a grill guard (which i promptly sold).
