The only time I've ever gone over 1000° is pulling a loaded horse trailer up a grade and letting the cruise try to hold at 65mph... got up to 1050° when I tapped the brake, held the speed to 62 or something and EGT's went way down. Sure do love these baby injectors of mine

Do you have an early 99 with stock injectors? I assume that your sensor is post turbo??? Mine is pre turbo and I am hitting 1300 pretty easily.

Joe is right- early 99, stock turbo and sticks, 6637 in and 4" duals out, probe in the up-pipe where it should be. I can pull 25 psi boost all day long no problems, I've buried the needle on my 30psi gauge a few times unintentionally (even with defueling from overboost). I've even got a small up-pipe leak but it always goes away when the motor is warm.
