Buy 04XLT or 07EB?

I hate buying vehicles. Actually, I hate paying for them, but wanted some input from y'all.

07 Expedition EB with 68k for $25,800
or
04 Expedition XLT with 68k for $14,500

Don't get hung up on the prices so much since they can be negotiated, but I primarily need this to tow a 27' travel trailer.

mbogosia needs to improve their reputation.
I think that 07 will have a 6 speed transmission vs the 4 for the 04.

The 6-speed tranny is really getting to me. First it was 2005 and the 32V 5.4L, like my 06 F-150 had. Now it's that 6-speed tranny that I can't seem to give up. I may end up biting the bullet on the costs and go with the 07.

I"ve never picked up something with so many miles in so short a time. I have to assume it's mostly highway miles but can't know for sure.

First, it's a 24-valve motor, 3 valves per cylinder. Only the Navi's had 32-valve motors and I think they eventually went with the 24 also, can't remember. If price isn't a concern, then I'd definitely go with the 07 for the 6-speed tranny. I think it'll make life much better while towing.

07 for sure. The 6 speed trans and the nicer interior of the EB would do it for me.
