C6 2wd to 4x4??????????????

Is it possible to easily convert a c6 from 2wd to 4x4? I just had my tranny rebuilt out of my 2wd truck, and have decided to put it in my bronco instead. I would think that all I would need to change would be the tail shaft. is this correct?

Yes, It can be done, Is it easy ... Depends on your skills.

You have to pull the transmission completely apart to change the output shaft.

Be better off taking it to the folks that rebuilt it and have them do it, that way it doesn't void your warranty.

-Enjoy
