1979 302 Got Spark but No RUN! HELP!!

I just bought what I thought was an awesome F100.. stepside, shortbed, 103k orig. miles... AC, Tilt, Auto and just a little rust on the cab corner.. New tires and 70's original crager SS rims.. new tires and exhaust with the stickers on it still.. everything works down to the pisser on the windshield wipers... Except I cant get it to run.. I have put the engine on TDC checked it lineing up on the distributor, checked the coil, checked the wires, put on new cap and rotor, new plugs and put on another brain box.

Now I have Fuel to the carb, Spark from the coil to the cap.. spark from the cap to the plugs.

HELP!!!! anothe issue is the distirbutor hold down bolt is a bear to get to because of the AC pump.. any suggestions or tips. I was told two things.. possibly out of time 180 or more... or.. no compression.. I will test compression tomorrow. I did notice that when I went to TDC the plug blew my finger out of the hole hard.. The engine doesnt spin freely like it has no compression..

Ive ran my manual and did all the test with the voltmeter on all the resistance on the electronics and its all good..

Cmon guys I need this baby to run..
