Exhaust tubing question

Im doing a cool exhaust project with my truck.. Is our exhaust stainless steel or aluminumized? I found this pipe on jegs.com for a good price. http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...-1&showValue=1
Is this the pipe i want? i plan to put a 20 degree bend in it.

do you have or know someone who has a pipe bender that can do 3.5"??? I can't find anyone who can do over 3" anywhere near me.

Stock exhaust shouldn't be stainless... what is your exhaust project?

I'm doing dual exhaust exiting before both rear tires on mine. Doing dual 3" right after the downpipe. Should flow a little better than a single 4" pipe and I want it coming out both sides.

That is what I used on mine and did it just like you, except with 4 inch. Got mine from summit cause it was on sale at the time but same stuff.

fordman, how did you connect the 3.5" cat or delete pipe to the 4 inch pipe? Did you crimp the end of the 4" pipe to fit the 3.5? or use a reducer? or what?

I got a 3-4 inch downpipe from tymar and just straight piped it out with a 45 right ahead of the tire. Cat and muffler are totally gone.

mine is quieter running just the downpipe than it was with my 5" stacks... have my new exhaust all cut and ready to go on, just need to get it welded together now.

When you get finished drops some pictures. I heard Alluminum was a better option than stanless due to corrosion. Any thoughts on that?

I think it would be the other way around but either is a good choice over regular steel... the Stainless is more expensive.

I'd have a adapter welded on. You can order them from store.airflo.com for pretty cheap.

Make sure you get the right one, you'll probably need a 3.5" id to 4" id

I got my exhaust done... i'll post pics when I can, just got off of 24 hour duty so i'm gonna sleep for a while
