Sorry

Sorry I haven't replied to any of you other posts, so to make up for it here are a few of my trucks pics with grill guards.

The one on the silver truck is a factory Ford design, found it with the black bumper for $30.00 on a 79 Bronco. Hard to find, but I like the look, Jeff's Bronco Graveyard has some nice one's too.

The one on ol red came with the truck, mounted to the frame via the front leaf springs bolts and all four bumper mount bolts. VERY STRUDY!!

And the chebby "tow outa the mud" hooks work great, could be very easily copied? Good HD tow hooks and D-ring tow points are important.

And consider a receiver point in the front, I am putting on on red for a winch that can be used front or rear.

Its all cool, ck Jeff's Bronco Graveyard they have some nice bolt on chrome or black for the right price. I am looking into getting the chrome one for my signature truck.

I am in Afghanistan right now, so I do not have all my Ford aftermarket accessory mags handy, but the net is just a click away.

Look at the FTE sponsors sights, good luck.

About the same as 77&79F250's, I just mounted my hooks on the inside (they work great as steps to work on the motor too )
Sorry it's not a closer shot, this is just the most recent pic I have.

Bumper bolts and front spring bolts stay the same. Just go right through the guard and bolt in as normal.

IMO its better to get one that bolts to the frame sides and bumper, if you get one that uses the front spring bolts you might have to use a little longer bolts.

If you do, at least use grade 8 so they don't sheer off in a fender bender. Remember if your truck is a 1/2 ton it will not have front leaf spring mount bolts.
