Cash for clunkers announcement
They can KEEP their cash......
I'm NOT getting rid of my "clunker" for a Focus. Or any other new car for that matter.
I'm quite happy paying $3.00 a gallon driving my 10 mpg, gas guzzling old truck.

They are trying to convert us from
to
and I don't see that happening in the near future.
I am proud to drive a "clunker"
it's what sets me apart from all the damn hippies in Omaha

Damn right.
And anyway, my clunker doesn't guzzle gas.
It gulps diesel. There is a big damn difference.

No damn way will I trade in either truck or my car to try and wedge my fat can into a Focus. Freakin ridiculous that I can get $4,500 off a new car, thagt I am still financing and making payments on. My truck is paid off (all $300 of it).
