nice haha
My teachers, who I only knew for the school year hated me.
why?
because I am an opinionated little SOB when it comes to what I want to be taught

haha. yeah. well i was like that my freshman year...but then i realized the saying "the nail that sticks out, gets hammered..."
so i just chose to not take their bull**** instead, if something had to be turned in, i turned it in, if they got all bitchy on how it was done, i told them i would revise it, but told them that if they were gonna take points off, then id just do it again...
most of my teachers realize at the beginning of the year, that if you respect me as an adult, which i am, then we'll have NO problems, but if you try to treat me like a child, im gonna spit in your face for disrespecting me.

Thats my main complaint with High School.
The teachers NEVER treat you as an adult, instead they treat you as a middle schooler, or elementary schooler.
I am in my last 4 years of School, please make it enjoyable and something to have good memories about.
I think thats the main reason kids get pissed and drop out, they don't get the respect they deserve and decide there are better options.
kinda makes sense.
but i'd rather argue my butt off and get a diploma

haha yeah i know what ya mean, it was cool though, cause my junior year, i actually had a debate/public speaking class. and it was great, one because i met one of my best "girl" friends in the class. and two at the end of the year, the teacher, who is a good friend of mine, and i had a HUGE debate, that lasted 3 days i think. it was great, getting to argue with a teacher....FOR A GRADE

It's not such a terrible idea if someone wants a new car they can go to the junkyard find a car they can make run for $200, and then get $4500 trade in for it. Or if there are people with multiple "clunkers" some for parts and such they can get $4500 for it on trade in.
To some people there is something to be said for not having to fix stuff all the time(not that old cars and trucks are always broken or anything, or that new cars don't break down), and some people are willing to make payments for that "security". What they don't think about is once they get it paid off it's probably got 75k to 150k miles on it, and worth way less than you paid, might as well buy it when it's 5 or 10 years old and half the price or less, and still nice.
Do you have to buy a brand new car for it to work, because that doesn't sound that great to me.

Yes you have to buy a brand new car.
You can't just go get an old car out of the junkyard to trade in. It has to have been registered and running for a year IIRC, but I know you can't pull a car out of a field and drag it up there to get a credit. They do have rules on the clunkers.
It's funny my wifes 01 Montero Sport qualifies as a clunker for a $4500 credit!! LOL too bad I don't want to get rid of it!!

Do they really think this is going to get these cars off the road, wrong. You bring your "clunker" to the dealer, the government kicks them back $4500.00 for taking it. They freshen it up for a couple of hundred bucks and sell it off for $3000.00. This is free trade ins for dealers. Unless they are obligated to send it to scrap, I dont know, it just pisses me off.
