I may be moving to a newer truck in the near future, if that's the case, the Crew Cab will have to go on the "For Sale" block. So... 1978 F250, Crew Cab, 4x4 NP 205, SM435, with granny first, Dana 44HP front, Dana 60 rear, 4.10s, going "as is". $5000 starting. Pics of the mods and work in my gallery. This is harder than I though it was going to be!

I decided I would like to try and turn my shortbox into a 4x4 if I can find the parts.

I am looking for a 87 and up 1/2 ton 4x4. Whole parts truck would be great, as i need the front end, tranny (looking for a 5 speed) transfer case, and most likely rear end too.

A 3/4 ton truck would work, but the truck would have to be fairly complete. Engine or body condition does not matter, as I would need just the drivetrain, and parts from teh drivetrain.

If you know of anyone that has either a 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton ford in the 87-96 era, and its a 4x4, and it has a high mileage engine, lots of rust on the body, or maybe even smashed up, let me know! If you have one, just pm me, and let me know the price your asking for it!

'53 front grille, no teeth or emblems, small ding by center emblem but easily fixable. $75

'53-'56 fromt bumper, steel good shape painted gloss black $75

2 '48-'53 8RT iron heads $30 for the pair

'48-'53 stock aluminum intake $30

'48-'53 3 3/4" crank, out of a recently rebuilt motor (would have to be checked to be sure) $50

'48-'53 stock cam, lobes appear to be in good shape, its out of the same motor as the crank $35

'48-'53 fiber timing gear, good shape $5

set of valve, valve guides, retainers, keepers and clips, all in good shape some keepers may be missing or broken (cant remember) $40 for all

'48-'53 fuel pump with glass bowl, needs a good cleaning $15

94 holley carb, dont know much about it but looks in ok shape, oil bath post is a little bent but can be straightend easily, probably good idea for a carb kit $50

2 48-53 water pumps, 3/8 belt pulley, a little rusty but a good cleaning and they should be good (new ones run $200) these are $40 for both

48-53 3 blade fan with 3/8 crank pulley, fan blades are a little bent but easily fixable $10

Ford Superduty 10.5" 3.73:1 ring and pinion with limited slip. 131 000 kms. Everything works $150 or trade for Powr Lok for a Dana 70 rear axle.

 

Wanted: front grill for a 1946 mercury truck

 

1977 Ford F-100, 400CI, C6 tranny, body is mint, no rust, however it did have patch panels put over the rear wheel wells and it is not a perfect job. New rims with new tires, 245/60R15 on the front and 275/60R15's on the back. Brand new 2-1/4 inch dual exhast with Cherry Bomb glasspacks, and tilt steering. Brand new JVC cd player, new speakers in the doors, two 10" Alpine type "S" subs and a Alpine V12 digital amp. $3500
