Exclamation Program OEM Remote Start FOB

Does anyone here know how to program the OEM remote start fob? They have them on ebay, reasonably priced.

Also I see the 09 OEM keys there for every Ford except the expy, anybody know if these might work?

no idea on the programming

i've had my eye on those keys myself. but at about $50, I'm scared of dropping that kind of cash.

I'm 99% sure it will work though. That is the basic key from the small SUV line. They work on the 04-08 F-150's perfectly. Lock/Unlock works and the key starts the trucks...and since our Expy's have the same keys...it should

I think the only issue we will run into will be the Power Rear Hatch. I need that feature, so I'm waiting for the 09 Expy key to become available

I saw one somewhere on the net the other day for the expy for only $89.95 (whew) looks like we'll wait a while longer. The power hatch was my question on the other keys too, they have the same buttons & symbils as my keys.

I ordered my '09 from the factory with remote start. It was sent as an add-on along with the vehicle and the dealer had to do the install. When I took delivery of the vehicle, I found that the remote start was actually a separate fob instead of a new key which included a remote start button. I didn't care for that especially since the original key still had two blanks for buttons.

Bamp,
Call KC Autosound in Kansas City at (816) 868-2481. Website at www.kcautosound.com Ask for Travis! He actually helped my dealer via phone install a remote start system on one of my Expeditions. He is very good and very helpful!
