I don't fare too well in crowds, so I more than likely won't be making the trek to the ATN, as much as I'd like to.

It depends on the crowd for me - I can go to football games, car shows, etc., but loud bars and clubs and stuff...forget it.

Wish that were my case, but unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) any crowds don't work with me. I suppose it gives me more time to tinker on my truck though.

Truck tinker time is good though too. I wish I had some more than I do.

I'm finding that the most interesting part about my tinkering is finding out all the strange things that have been done to the truck before I got it. Like the springs, the seats, the craptastic bodywork on the bed, etc.

I hear that. I talked to the stealership briefly on that 94 F-150 today...we're supposed to get more detailed tomorrow since I hit him pretty close to his closing time. Surprised he's willing to rack it for me to look under it.

Might be a diamond in the rough, and him being willing to let you thoroughly check it out, that's a huge plus. You find out what's under the hood, etc., yet?

According to the brief conversation we had it's a 302 and 5 speed. XL trim, no power anything and very bare bones inside. Clean inside, well treated that way, and the PO is a local who traded for a 2009. Will find out more tomorrow.

Thanks - I would like an extended cab a little more, but for the price it's definately worth a look.

Well back from vacation, but don't have to work until Monday. Going back to work after vacation bites.

I hear that - feels like you need a vacation to recuperate from vacation or something.

Yes the frame broke right under the drivers door and is weak in the rear were all galaxies seem to be. It was an otherwise really decent car.

looks like I got a taker for the engine tranny, d-shaft, exhaust, radiator, and rear axle, the wheels/tires and the brakes.

BUT still will have the shell left over.

Hope it works out for you - was the car always here on the mountain or did you bring it in from somewhere else?
