At my wits end...photo upload problem
Can anyone please shed some light on a problem I have uploading pics? My computer system: Dell D600; Windows XP; IE8; all recently updated.

Problem: I recently purchased a new digital camera (Kodak easyshare), took some new pics of my truck and tried to upload into my galery. Every time I try to upload pics, the pic does not display (get the box with the red x in it) So then I uploaded my pics to photobucket...no problem. I try to upload the pics from photobucket to my gallery and the cut and paste does not work: (tried the right click method and the "ctrl C and V method to no avail. I am able to copy the image or thumbnail link, but it wont let me paste it into the browse upload box on fte site.

I have already logged off/on fte site, cleared the cookies, temp files, and defraged...still no sucess.

NOTE: I have uploaded pics before to this site with no problem. I had deleted those pics before I tried these new pics. Now, I cant even upload the old pics. I have been able to upload my new pics to other sites such as Powerstroke.com and Ford powerstroke diesel with no problems. Can anyone please advise of could be causing the problem?...any settings I need to check on my computer? Or if anyone would be willing to upload one of my new pics in their gallery to see if it is a problem with the pics or my computer. Thank you for any assistance through the message board or PM would be greatly appreciated.

I just uploaded images with out issue.

Goto your album.
Select: Upload Pictures.
Select: Browse.
Browse: To image on local harddrive. (Not remote site)

That should add the path and filename to the image you want uploaded into the "Picture To Upload" fields.

Select: Upload Pictures.

The images must conform to the size requirements of:
Maximum File Size per Picture 97.7 KB
Maximum Picture Dimensions 1,024 by 768 Pixels

I tried that initially several times with no sucess. I also tried reloading pics I had in my gallery before and still having the same problem...

Are you trying to load them from another site or from your local harddrive.

Do me a favor please...

Upper right of the page above where it says "Log out", Where it says: Welcome your_username

Click on your username.
On the right side of the page that opens you will see a stat box that says "Albums".
Click on "Show All Albums".
At this point you can create new Albums or Click on an Album to see it's contents.

Is this where you are going to upload images????

Adrian pointed out to me that the gallery was broken, That led to the conclusion, So Adrian is the real hero!

Just glad we got it figured out, there are many that have been complaining, now we (I) know how to answer them!
