I wrecked an ATV pretty bad a few years back and I am finally sick enough of the pain and numbness that I am doing something about it.

 

No sense living with that. If you can get it fixed it, might as well!

 

Doctor is thinking about a steroid shot first which doesn't totally excite me. On the other hand, surgery is not exciting either.

 

The steroid shot is a 50/50 deal... works wonders for some, does absolutely nothing for others. Definitely worth a shot if the doc wants to try it. Back problems suck... once you have them, they never really go away.

 

i was afraid of that scott. i heard a couple other people say the same thing today. One guy had the shot 5 years ago and his been great since and another guy had them every six months for three years and gradually moved to every three months and finally had vertebrae fused together and is worse off now.
