It has been hot, hot, hot. Finally today we had some rain. It came in the form of a 4 hr. thunder storm. The rain is good the unfortunate thing is the lightning started some more fires. One on Blackcomb Mountain which is where some of the Olympic events are being held. So far they say none of that is in any danger from the fire.

Morning all. What a week this has been! Flooding, sand bagging, evacuating people, pumping out basements, and right after I hit the button on my last post last night we had a structure fire. I fed the baby last night when I got home around 8pm and then proceeded to follow her example and fall asleep with her laying on me. I'm tired and sore, but there's no rest for the wicked as they are calling for 2-5" of rain tonight.
