We longer have a clue what the weather will do. It has done EXACTLY opposite of what all the weather weenies here have predicted for the last few days. This is really getting old!

Morning Carl, hopefully you will not get the flash flooding as I am sure that a lot of the state needs some time to dry out with all of the rain that we have been getting lately.

Morning all, this just came up;ATTENTION - ROADS TO BE CLOSED THIS COMING WEEKEND!
For those of you who might be considering a road trip, be advised:
Portions of I-64, I-70, I-29, and I-90 will be closed next weekend. Expect long delays along these interstate highways plus major traffic disruptions in Charleston, WV, Louisville, KY, St Louis, MO, Kansas City, MO, and Omaha, NE.
A 500-ton piece of coal is being moved from West Virginia to South Dakota so that Barack H. Obama can be added to Mt Rushmore.

Well around here they have been hitting the nail on the head pretty good for the last month or so. I guess that it is easy when it has rained so much....LOL

Well, when they've predicted rain, it's been nice. And when they've said it should be nice, it has rained. That has been going on since Friday. And these idiots get paid for this!!

We're getting drenched....I'm making vid of it because we had an alert that some storms my drop 3-6 INCHES in an hr.
This has the look of the flood of 28June'06.
Nice looking trucks. Now the International is a Pierce, the mini looks like it is also a Pierce. Now the custom is by whom? and I assume that is the first due truck with the tranny problems.
One of these days, I need to snap some pictures of our trucks. Currently we are running two Internationals, one a pumper/tanker and the other as a pumper. Our third one is a Sanford/Chevy bread truck style rescue which is the one that we are looking at replacing.
Correct, the International is a 2006 Pierce Contender. The mini-pumper is a 2003 New Lexington. The custom cab is a 1996 HME Central States Interceptor and, yes, the one with issues. The tranny is actually fine; it is in for a routine flush, service, etc, on that. It's the engine that has 14,001 issues.

WOW Carl, I did not realize that you guys were getting pounded that bad.
Haven't seen this big a mess since we had the flood in '06.
It's a bad system...I'll be ok but just down the hill from me...a sand wedge away, could be underwater soon if this parks on us as it appears to be doing.
Like '06....I'll be offering vittles, the floor to camp out, park your car, bring your dog.....
I didn't need this right now...I'm doing my monthly pissy carl dance.
