Another Gear Vender Question

I was pulling my fifth wheel this weekend and had the Gear Vender in the auto mode. Once I got to speed, around 45 it usually shifts into overdrive. This time, it would not stay in overdrive, it kept shifting in and out. Any thoughts or solutions. After that issue, I put it back in the manual setting and shifted into overdrive manually and had no issues. Thanks for your help.

mistakenID is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
My gear vendor would drop out of overdrive every once in a while, started getting worse and eventually would not shift into overdrive.

The signal generator on the speedometer cable had gone bad. It was about $36 plus shipping from gear vendor 5-6 years ago.

The old inline cruise sensors from the 70's and early 80's trucks are the same thing, or Dodge trucks as well. Theone with my GV was in a Dodge truck, so it had the big fitting on it for Dodge.

Thanks for the info, I believe it is the signal generator. I have it on order.
