To me, a ton of TV's an "the biggest wheels possible" arent custom, its just to show off how much money you have. I could easily spend 20k on customizing a vehicle and never get a TV.
Hey how much weight can you put in the bed? How much can that thing tow LOL???

I'm glad you feel that way. I'm way over the 20k mark and I don't really see the issue with the tvs. Especially the touch screen for a computer and navi? Oh well to each there own. If I gave a damn what everyone else thought it wouldn't be my own. Money has nothing to do with the wheels or anything else on the truck. I like the way it looks on the truck. Sy 16's on 48's isn't my prefference...Like I said I just started om the truck 2 months ago, is it custom yes. Is there going to be more done to it absolutely. Will you like it??? Don't care... Maybe you would like my body dropped dime with full tubular frame with a vette motor in it? Either way I don't bash you ride so I would appreciate it if you were to do the same...

I'm glad you asked... I can tow my track car no problem. As for weight in the bed I just had a pallet of stone in it last week didn't even notice it was back there.
Thanks for your service

Pardon me, but he wasn't bashing YOUR RIDE specifically
TV's in a vehicle? Maybe for the kids, but I'd personally rather they enjoy the scenery instead
TV is the last thing I want to watch in my vehicle, even when camping. Much more fun stuff to do.
I agree, it's a "money" thing.

I guess things that cost more money then other things makes it a money thing? Has nothing to do with preference from one thing and the other... That bash seemed to be directed right at it me. Considering the big rims on my truck and the fact I was talking about adding the tvs.

I bit my tongue at first. I'm sorry guys but I have to agree with Laynlow here. Perhaps it wasn't directed specifically at him, and in that guys opinion it is about money, but the tone was there and there were only so many ways to take it. We can make ALL of it a money thing, how do we really know? Was he talking about how much he spent on it?
Anything that is cosmetic is a money thing, bush guards (that never see a bush), fancy wheels of any kind regardless of size, stacks, fancy paint jobs, countless lift's done in the name of looks. Heck, anyone that buys a brand new truck spending $40, $50, $60k on it and posts pictures IMO is flaunting their money, but I let them be proud of what they accomplished. Harley trucks are a good example right from the factory, none of that stuff is about function. But yet we appreciate it. I wouldn't do what the OP did to my truck, but it was a lot of work and effort and is someone's expression of themselves... period.

I've never even looked at Laynlowf250's truck, so...
It's my personal opinion. Last I checked, I'm still able to have one, eh?

Well put. While that truck is not my style, I can appreciate the effort that someone has put into it. If we all had the same taste for vehicles this world would be a pretty bland place. It has nothing to do with money IMO either. In all honesty, the majority or people driving a superduty could afford to do that to there trucks if they wanted too. Some people like big flashy bling bling, some people like raw harcore function over form rigs, to each there own.
People rag on me about my truck being a mall crawler, maybe it is, but its a combination of what suits my perticular needs. I like big trucks, I like big wheels and big mud tires. I like my manual locking hubs and my rubber floors that I can hose out. I enter truck pulls, I take it in moderate mud, I tow a trailer, even take it to the dragstrip. Just because I have a big lifted truck doesnt mean its a joke because I dont beat the hell out of it like a 16yr old in tehre first car and enjoy keeping it clean.

Hey Playboy- I stand corrected- I couldn't see the pics on my Gov't computer, but now that I see them I'd say (1) I had mistaken it for another truck, and (2) it's a sweet looking ride, not over done, well I only need a stock radio, but as long as you bump country you're cool with me LOL. Nice girls too!

Thanks mongo. Like I said before tho its my buddies truck all I did is redo the stereo. Here is my beast. Soon to be lifted and I am putting in 4 15s havent decided on Alpine Type R or something cheaper like the Crossfire BMFs. Either way I get one hell of a deal thru my buddy who runs a stereo shop.
Heres a pic of my Mark VIII, mustang and brothers supercoupe. Just a bunch o ford nuts. LOL

You LET them be proud? Posting pics is not flaunting your money, this is a truck forum and guys show each other their trucks, and by the way my mods are all about function. I would not do that to my truck either, but I can appreciate the work he has done, we don't want all of our trucks to look the same, now do we?
