No its been a good 4 years since seats and headliner were done.
As for ugly trucks and skanky girls, I would take this thing any day. I had the truck for almost a week and drove back and forth to town and I got all kinds of people coming up to check it out. I now see why my buddy is so popular. People for some reason are drawn to it. I had old people even checking it out. Everybody got a kick out of the air horns.
Not my color, but the paint job looks great. Nice truck.

I have been in the custom truck scene well before I got an f-250. I think that truck lacks direction and looks like a ton of "mods" just thrown at it with no vision on how they would all go together. I dont think it looks that bad, but due to the lack of vision it is gaudy. If you are going to "build" a custom vehicle you need to start out with an idea on the direction you want it to take, not just throw parts at it.

IMO both examples that you have shown look bland. But that is my opinion so take it for what its worth. Plus they are chevys. In the same breath tho if you were going to show a good example of a nice chevy I would try one that was of the same nature a 4x4 not a lowered bagged truck from another brand name. But I will meet you half way on that heres a bagged 4x4 that I will be redoing his stereo as well. But yes the purple truck needs more direction I have told him this before.
I have had a hand full of customized show vehicles some from mild to wild classic to new school. I just started on my 2005 f-250 a little over 2 months ago. I must say the ostrich print I do like and had ordered a sample about a month ago. When I do the interior the ostrich print will be used on accents and the inserts. The stereo will be 3-12's in a fiberglass box in place of the center console with a 22" raw touchscreen monitor in the front 2-12.2 tv's in the visiors. Fiberglassed door pods with dual comps, Fiberglass tweeters on top of door. Ceiling mounted amp rack. 2-9" monitors in the headrests. May be awhile till I have it done but deff have a dirrection a local sponsor would be great...

Different people like different things. I personally prefer vehicles that all ages can appriciate and that look like something a factory "Could" have put out. It looks like your preferences border more bolt on mods and more of the look of "more is better". To me, those are the kinda trucks ONLY a younger person would like and what gives the custom world a bad name with "older" people.

I am sorry if I sound a bit rough but "bolt on", maybe you didnt look at the pics of the s10 very close. The s10 is a 4x4 that lays frame, I dont think there is another in the country but I may be wrong. Plus I dont htink you can simply just bolt on a kit to make it lay frame. Please both of the examples you have shown in your previous posts werent anything that would stand out at car shows in this area. Not to say they arent nice, they are, but this truck is for show only and the occasional cruize. Your kinda rides arent really show stoppers, but nice and yes you could probably drive them daily without to much fuss. As for giving the custom world a bad name with older folks sorry about your luck. Remember the saying if its too loud your too old, same thing here times change and so does the customizing world. So if you cant keep up with it sorry. Heres my cousins bolt on, all be it a chevy.

Thats dead sexy man. Thats the same set up I want on my excursion.
Thanks, I am working on a bunch of things right now for the truck. I am having one off stainless caps made up for the wheels. Also within the next week or so the wheels are coming off and I am having the insides painted to match the truck and installing dust shields. I haven't gone all out on the truck yet but with in the next year it may become a full time show truck. A couple months ago this thing was a bone stock work truck. When I bought it in 05 I said I wasn't going to do anything to it. I liked it that much, so much for leaving it stock. Some of the older guys who still wave the rebel flag don't like it because of the 24" rims. Like you said times change. They look more fitting to the truck by filling the need for the touch of chrome. Everything outside is factory black or chrome/polished. I am very paticular with things matching. It drove me crazy having the gray bumpers on it for a couple weeks with a white hood.
