they want us to take em back to the dealer-not fix em our selves or have the local town mechanic fix em! kinda like the old [dealer item only]-god that erks my nervers

if i get it adjusted and it still idles funny when cold -I'm checking for vacuum leaks next

or check the temperature gauge sending unit-i have heard of them being inoperable and causing cold start problems-makes the engine think it's already warmed up?

either style will work, watch the needle sweep, or look at the numbers. numbers easier, but use what ya got.

big time. keeps it from going closed/open loop. don't think that is your problem though, your gas mileage would be horrible from that, yours is almost too good.
