hi all,
i did some checking on that paper i got yesterday, on some of the websites.
i found a community college here in oregon that has a diesel school thats 2years long but you get an associates degree when your done. fafsa has an on line app. for a grant.
the info they want is pretty extensive including your first born and your mothers maiden
name, and where your dad worked when you were born. i have to call or go down to
mt hood community college and have a chat with them and see how i can get the ball rolling.

ya me too... the website for that is www.fafsa.gov for the app. thats for the grant.
the other is www.careeronestop.org thats a college locating service i guess.
and all i did was put in my zip code and mt. hood cc came up with a whole list of coarses. i think its nation wide.
and that little tid bit of info can be helpful to anyone that was laid off and are on unemployment. by the time i finish the course i'll be 50.
